The third annual Pickleball Meet-Up on Monday, Aug. 31, hosted by John Sciacca in partnership with the CEDIA Foundation is a fun way to reconnect with industry friends while supporting the Foundation's mission to attract and train the next generation of smart home professionals. If you can't make it or aren't into pickleball, you can still support the cause by making a donation at cediafoundation.org.
On Tuesday evening, members are invited to the CEDIA Member Reception at 5 p.m. outside the Mile High Ballroom. Grab a drink, catch up with peers from around the world, and make new connections before heading into the CEDIA Town Hall. There, CEDIA's new Director of Research, Ryan Bardach, will present key findings from the 2026 Professional Smart Home Market Analysis (USA) and explore what they mean for businesses moving forward.
Before hitting the show floor, grab breakfast on CEDIA without the wrap-around line. From Wednesday through Friday, members can fuel up with complimentary coffee and bagels from 8:30-10 a.m. at the CEDIA Breakfast Club at the top of the escalators. You may just run into someone you know, too.
Looking to sharpen your skills? Members receive discounts on CEDIA's Education Conference and globally accredited certification exams, making CEDIA Expo the ideal place to invest in your professional growth. You'll also have access to inspiring programming throughout the week, including priority member seating at Wednesday morning's keynote from former Disney executive Duncan Wardle. Drawing from years spent integrating innovation into Disney’s experiential storytelling, Wardle will share tools and techniques CEDIA professionals can use to approach projects more creatively, collaborate more effectively, and uncover new opportunities in every client interaction.

When it's time to network, show attendees can continue the conversation during Connection Hour on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 4 p.m. at the CEDIA booth. Open to both members and non-members, this casual event is the perfect opportunity to catch up with fellow members and the CEDIA team, or discover what's possible when you join the association.
The week also offers opportunities to connect with the broader design and technology community. Architects, designers, and builders will be participating in Technology Designer magazine's complimentary Day of Discovery, featuring guided show floor tours, CEDIA design-build education sessions, and the Technology Designer Luncheon.
On Thursday, the 18th annual Women in Consumer Technology Luncheon at CEDIA Expo will celebrate the 2026 WiCT Legacy Award honorees with a networking reception, followed by an awards luncheon presentation.
Finally on Friday, to close off the week, show attendees can enjoy a self-guided bar crawl through downtown Denver. A sign-up link with information will be shared via email, and rumor has it Daryl will be buying the first round of drinks for CEDIA members.
