CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, has announced the dates and locations for its 2026 UK Tech + Business Summits. Returning with a four-city programme, including a new Manchester location for 2026, the summits are focussed on providing integrators and manufacturers with the opportunity to build connections with design and build professionals.
“This year, the CEDIA Tech + Business Summits are focused on bringing complementary industries together to strengthen collaboration and create new partnerships,” says Matt Nimmons, Managing Director of CEDIA EMEA. “A major focus for 2026 is expanding our engagement with design and build professionals through hosting panel discussions, and offering targeted, accredited CPD sessions aimed at supporting the professional development of design and build professionals. After seeing the benefits of involving designers at ISE, we’re excited to expand the summits to further engage the design and build community.”
A key feature of the 2026 programme is a curated panel discussion series titled “Collaboration to Build Success: Aligning Design, Space, and Technology on Home Integration Projects.” Featuring expert voices from integration, architecture, and interior design, the panel will explore how early collaboration can dramatically improve project outcomes. Attendees will gain practical insights into balancing aesthetics with functionality, navigating communication gaps between teams, and addressing common project pain-points, supported by real-world examples and proven workflows. Additionally, the summits will host an accredited CPD presentation designed to provide architects and design professionals with practical guidance on incorporating residential technology into modern building projects.
The 2026 summits will also provide a platform to engage, connect, and learn from industry peers across the residential technology community.
