This award recognises an individual who has demonstrated a lifetime of innovative and visionary leadership in the smart home technology design and installation industry. Past recipients include some of the industry’s most brilliant entrepreneurs, inventors, engineers, and leaders.
The purpose is to recognise an individual who the industry deem worthy of a Lifetime Achievement Award, and is one of the highest honours an individual can receive. Since 1992, the programme has highlighted some of the industry's most influential people.

This award is open to any individual from the CEDIA community, regardless of membership status..
CEDIA’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognises an individual who has exhibited outstanding, creative, innovative, and visionary leadership in the growth and advancement of the technology design and installation industry. Nominations will be judged by the CEDIA Board of Directors based solely on the content provided on the award application.
The nominator must fill out the online nomination form. Upon receipt, applications become the property of CEDIA. Applications will not be returned to applicants.
