CEDIA education partners are authorized to use CEDIA’s curriculum to create and enhance their programs. They also receive technical assistance from leading industry experts and thought leaders to ensure that all aspects of their programs are implemented correctly.

CEDIA Education Partners are authorized to use CEDIA’s proprietary curriculum, materials, and resources through a licensing agreement.
Ensuring that their organisation is a CEDIA member in good standing and that all primary instructors hold the appropriate CEDIA credentials. Providing CEDIA with timely updates on trainee progress, creating a hands-on training environment that aggressively encourages trainees to learn and apply what they have learned.
Partnering with CEDIA to form and actively engage with an Employer Advisory Committee made-up of local systems integration employers that can assist with the following activities:
Program creation, implementation, updates, and sponsorship opportunities.
CEDIA certified instructor identification and assistance.
Guest speaking and career fair opportunities.
Job shadow, work experience, and employment opportunities
Developing relationships with locally/regionally to generate subsidised paid work experience opportunities for students. Acknowledging CEDIA in all collateral related to the marketing and promotion of programs that include CEDIA proprietary curriculum, materials, and resources. Agreeing to purchase an annual license and student program materials from CEDIA.
Providing purchased educational materials in a timely manner and technical assistance required to ensure that instructors are CEDIA certified and the training facility is set-up appropriately. Leveraging appropriate local member and partner contacts to ensure program success. And supporting local program recruitment, fundraising efforts and monitoring program performance.
CEDIA is working with Lincoln Tech to integrate the CIT curriculum and credentials into their EEST programs. The CIT will be replacing the Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA) Electronic Systems Technician (EST) certification, which has been officially retired with ESPA’s dissolution. The ESIA is a Florida Department of Education approved program available for adoption by qualified educational institutions that fall under FLDOE’s jurisdiction. CEDIA has been actively involved in developing and updating the ESIA curriculum framework that is used by Orange Technical College in Orlando, Florida and Pinellas Technical College in Clearwater, Florida.
