FISHERS, Ind. (28 October 2025) – CEDIA®, the association for smart home professionals™, is proud to announce the launch of its comprehensive Smart Home Technology Conference, set to take place at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 from 3–5 February at FIRA Barcelona. Building on the success of previous years, the 2026 programme will deliver unparalleled insights, practical skills, and future-focussed strategies for integrators working in the smart home sector.
A Conference Programme Designed for Growth and Innovation
The CEDIA Smart Home Technology Conference at ISE 2026 features 36 sessions spanning three days across six tracks – CEDIA Standards: AI & Emerging Technologies; Lighting & Wellness; Networking, Cybersecurity & Privacy; Home Cinema & Immersive Audio; and Business. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and subject matter experts, gain actionable strategies, and explore the skills that will define the next phase of their professional journey.

CEDIA Standards: With the introduction of RP1 Performance Facts, CEDIA is raising the bar for residential technology design. Four new 90-minute courses, led by Peter Aylett, CEDIA’s Education Committee Chair, will teach attendees how to interpret and apply key loudspeaker and amplifier specifications, moving the industry towards a more rigorous, engineering-first approach.
AI & Emerging Technologies: Attendees will be able to explore the latest innovations from Silicon Valley, practical applications of artificial intelligence in integration businesses, and the transformative potential of humanoid robotics and extended reality. Highlights include Rich Green’s signature “Future Technologies” session, two dynamic “AI Live” workshops, offering practical demonstrations of AI tools that can immediately improve business efficiency and technical delivery and smart technology solutions for the independent living sector.
Lighting and Wellness: Led by CEDIA instructor Andy Bull, this track will help integrators dive into the creative and scientific aspects of lighting design, human-centric lighting, and wellness technology. Sessions such as “Principles of Good Lighting Design” and “Lighting for Life: Why Human-Centric Design Matters in Smart Homes” will empower integrators to deliver environments that enhance wellbeing and performance.
Networking, Cybersecurity, and Privacy: As connected systems become ever more complex, CEDIA subject matter expert, Jeff Sonnleitner heads up this track which will equip integrators with the knowledge to design, implement, and maintain secure, future-ready solutions. Courses cover everything from advanced networking to practical cybersecurity strategies for residential environments and a new initiative from CEDIA to assist in the communication of key information to consumers.
Home Cinema and Immersive Audio: From cinema room design to room modes elimination, low frequency extension and next-generation acoustic simulation, this track is a must for anyone passionate about entertainment spaces. Sessions will guide attendees through the latest design principles, and hands-on techniques for delivering world-class cinema and audio experiences.
Business: The business track is packed with practical sessions on design thinking, building a winning business culture, project process efficiencies, growing recurring revenues, expanding your lighting design business, managing takeover jobs, working with designers and architects and more. These sessions include discussions with integrators and business experts who can offer real-world experiences and insights as well as actionable strategies for businesses.
