Superyacht Vertigo underwent a major AV and control refit to replace an ageing, fragmented system that no longer met the expectations of a modern private and charter vessel. The owner’s goal was clear: a single, reliable platform that could seamlessly support entertainment, navigation visibility, lighting, communications, and onboard operations, without adding complexity for guests or crew.

Liquid Automation was appointed to deliver a complete, future-ready solution during a tightly scheduled international refit. Working alongside yard managers, engineers, crew, and specialist trades, the team rebuilt the yacht’s AV, IT, and control infrastructure from the ground up. The result is a fully integrated onboard experience that feels intuitive for guests, efficient for crew, and robust enough to perform reliably in demanding marine conditions.

Redundant systems, fibre isolation, and proactive monitoring were built into every critical subsystem.

Navigation Visibility: Real-time vessel data, including speed, conditions, and camera feeds, is accessible from touch panels throughout the yacht.

Lighting Integration: Lutron lighting scenes support different moods, activities, and times of day across interior and exterior spaces.

Rack Engineering: Marine-grade racks are designed to withstand movement, vibration, and heat, while remaining serviceable.

Proactive Monitoring: Temperature, power, and system health are continuously monitored to prevent downtime.
