Project X is a large, provincial-style family residence designed with an extraordinary level of architectural detail. From ornate mouldings and layered finishes to carefully curated colour palettes in every room, the home’s design left little room for visible technology. The homeowners were clear from the outset: smart home systems needed to enhance the experience of living in the house without disrupting its aesthetic character in any way.

Bridger Automation was tasked with delivering a fully integrated technology solution that respected this vision while still providing rich audio, flexible lighting, whole-home entertainment, and robust security. By working closely with the architect, interior designer, and lighting consultant, the team embedded technology quietly into the structure of the home, ensuring performance and usability without visual compromise.

Intricate architectural detailing throughout

Speakers, displays, and control interfaces were carefully concealed within joinery, ceilings, and custom finishes.

High-performance speakers and subwoofers were recessed into the building fabric, allowing sound to feel natural and immersive without visible hardware.

Discreet Whole-home Control: A Control4-based system brings lighting, shading, audio, video, climate, and security together into a single, intuitive experience.

Lighting Designed Around Architecture: DALI-controlled lighting scenes highlight mouldings, architraves, and feature finishes while adapting naturally throughout the day.

Immersive Audio: Distributed audio fills the home and outdoor spaces with music, while speakers remain largely hidden from view.

Integrated Entertainment: Televisions and soundbars were custom-sized and built into joinery and fireplaces to maintain symmetry and visual balance.
