SmartTouchUSA built a unified, layered system on a Ubiquiti network backbone, combining centralised Lutron lighting and shading, a Basalte Home platform for 12-zone distributed audio, control, and intercom, and DSC/Alarm.com security with Ubiquiti Protect surveillance. A late-stage but pivotal addition, Josh.ai voice control, was introduced specifically to improve accessibility, ultimately extending into a custom voice-activated safety feature that lets the homeowner trigger monitored calls for assistance at varying urgency levels using a security relay integration.
