Nestled within a historic Australian mansion, The Cloister by Wavetrain Cinemas stands as an unrivalled luxury home cinema.

Seeking a captivating escape for their loved ones, a homeowner approached McCormick Concepts in search of a premium cinema experience infused with captivating aesthetics.

As this project’s name implies, this highly technical yet flawless design would impress just about anyone. Unlike many home theatre projects, the racks and equipment were built into the theme of the room rather than being hidden.

The owner was a tech enthusiast and had high expectations for his contemporary home designed with his young family in mind. The house features numerous, innovative, bespoke systems. An interactive staircase plays music and lights up, when in use.

Cyberhomes was tasked with creating a visually dramatic home cinema for watching movies, big sporting events, gaming, and presentations with both family and friends. Fine tuning of the design was achieved using 3D renders, including 360 on a VR headset.

The room is not a dedicated home theater, but the client wanted a dedicated home theater performance. The end result is an absolutely overwhelming experience in either A/V use or human performance modes.

When all was said and done, the team was able to create a room that was “beyond expectations” that provides a “breathtaking cinematic experience.

Audiovisions was tasked with creating customizable solutions for seven individual condo units and a common area. The goal? To connect eight separate systems through high-end technology systems while being mindful of the architecture.

The client wanted to use one end of their large basement as a sitting room and occasional cinema, for watching movies and gaming, with the other end as a gallery for contemporary art.
