Dawsons AV’s client wished to relocate and consolidate his various IT and AV racks into a new location. It involved repurposing a void and constructing a new rack space that partially used this void. 

To minimise the subsequent impact on the living space, Dawsons AV designed the racks so that they are ganged together and can be moved in and out via electric linear rams to allow rear access. The original void space was in existence to allow ventilation and plumbing services to an indoor Hot Tub room. This Hot Tub room was subsequently removed to make way for a gaming room, and the team re-purposed the ventilation services for the new rack’s thermal management.
