At the outset, the integrator changed the shape of the room from an asymmetrical rhombus to a symmetrical 8-sided space to improve the acoustics. The room was fully soundproofed by installing multi-layered acoustical shell on all surfaces and custom-made acoustical panels. 

An immersive cinematic experience is achieved through an Alcons 9.1.4 Dolby Atmos system with 8 subwoofers, a 4K JVC projector, and a Stewart WallScreen Deluxe.  

The unusual shape of the room meant it would not behave like a typical rectangular room in terms of standing waves. To optimise sound, all the speakers are perfectly aimed to the centre of the audience; between the two rows of seats. Four subs in the front and four in the back of the room have been placed symmetrically in “quarter-points” to provide maximum flexibility for calibration and bass-smoothing. 

The décor is stunning, from the luxurious wall coverings to the star lights in the ceilings. Two rows of five motorised recliner seats, with adjustable head rests, enhance the viewing experience.  

The projector was located in a ventilated hush-box, to reduce noise, as it could not be placed outside the room. As the HVAC was unable to cope with the hot air from the projector, intake and outtake fans and a digital temperature meter were added, to manage the air temperature.
