This project was unlike any other for Beyond Alliance. The homeowner was not only a long-time collaborator, but also a respected architect designing her own residence. Her brief was precise and deeply personal: a home that felt alive, intuitive, and responsive, while remaining visually calm and disciplined.

Technology needed to serve everyone who lived in the home, including her elderly mother and household staff, without drawing attention to itself. Budgets were tightly controlled, aesthetics were non-negotiable, and every system had to adapt naturally to daily routines. The result is a highly considered smart home where lighting, climate, audio, access, and control work quietly in the background, supporting real life rather than showcasing technology.
