The homeowner of this beautiful property requested an immersive audio and video experience that everyone in the home, including his wife and grandchildren, could use with ease. He also wanted high-quality sound and video throughout the home both indoors and outdoors.

Maxicon rose to the occasion by providing a Savant system to control the audio, video, and lighting systems. This seamless integration makes it possible for anyone in the home to easily change and control the integrated systems in 28 individual zones, including the large state-of-the-art home theatre room.

For added convenience, the integrator programmed automations into the system, making it possible to perform common tasks with one touch of a panel or button. For instance, at a specific time in the day, the motorized shades come down to protect the client’s artwork from direct sunlight. In the bedrooms, one touch of a button will bring the custom-built lifts with 75” TVs down and adjust the sound for the perfect viewing experience in that particular room.

One neat outdoor feature that sets this property apart from the rest is the custom built and painted LED screen. The screen blends with the landscape to create a perfect combination of technology and nature.

Another feature Maxicon provided that exceeded expectations was a unique underwater lighting and camera system. The light fixtures were installed in the dock to attract fish and other marine wildlife. This interaction with the lighting is recorded and displayed live in the home. This is one of  many reasons the project was highly commended in innovation!
