The goal of this course is to provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to perform, under supervision, the tasks typically assigned to an entry level cabling and infrastructure technician in the residential limited energy systems industry.
The CIT exam may be taken independently of the full CEDIA Connect program and will be offered on the third day. This is open for all those to sign-up for the three-day training or anyone else who would like to take the CIT exam.

No prior experience is required. This course is designed for entry-level technicians or those new to the residential limited energy systems industry who want to build foundational skills and earn their CIT certification.
The program includes hands-on classroom lab exercises, blueprint reading, cable and equipment scheduling, cabling practices, safety training, and a full CIT review session and proctored CIT exam on Day 3. Lunch is provided each day.
