Veluxa Cinema was created by transforming a small guest bedroom into a dedicated entertainment space for a family who loves movies, music, and karaoke. With a limited footprint and a firm budget, the challenge was to deliver a cinematic experience that felt immersive and exciting, without making the room feel cramped or overly technical.

Luxor Integration worked closely with the homeowners to prioritise what mattered most: a large screen, powerful audio that could handle concert-level volume, simple control, and a design that still felt welcoming for children and guests. Through careful planning and creative use of space, the team delivered a cinema that punches well above its size, proving that standout home cinema experiences aren’t limited to large rooms or unlimited budgets.

Room was originally a small guest bedroom

Layout, seating position, and speaker selection were carefully optimised to maximise immersion without reducing usable space.

The client wanted the largest possible screen

The projector was recessed into the subfloor cavity behind the room, allowing for a much larger image than typical for the space.

High-volume audio was a priority for concerts and karaoke

High-efficiency speakers and subwoofers were selected to deliver impact without requiring large enclosures.

The room needed to feel open, not boxed in

Shallow acoustic treatments, a floating fabric wall, and sheer rear curtains preserved a sense of depth.

Large Screen: A 116-inch 16:9 screen fills the front wall, creating an immersive viewing experience well suited to movies, karaoke, and family content.

Concert Audio: High-output speakers and subwoofers deliver the volume and presence needed for live music and karaoke without strain.

Hidden Hardware: Speakers, acoustics, cabling, and the AV rack are concealed to keep the room feeling clean and uncluttered.

Starlight Ceiling: A fibre-optic ceiling adds atmosphere and a sense of wonder, especially for younger family members.
