With a tight deadline and an unforgettable event on the horizon, ETC Florida was tasked with creating a warm, welcoming, and fully integrated smart home that would perform flawlessly. 

From lighting scenes that set the mood for the ceremony to whole-home audio that filled every space with celebration, the team delivered a system designed for comfort, beauty, and effortless control. Oceanic Oasis now supports everyday living just as gracefully as it supported the most important day of her life.

Design Challenges and Smart Fixes

Cove lighting, shade pockets, and ceiling details evolved

ETC Florida collaborated closely with the general contractor, adjusting fixture layouts and shade housings until every detail was correct. 

Shelving and millwork required custom lighting integration

The team carefully coordinated with the carpenter to fit linear lighting and power supplies into the shelving while keeping everything hidden.  

Network performance needed to support over one hundred guests

A full stress test simulated real-world wedding traffic, ensuring Wi-Fi and AV systems would stay stable during the event. 

Standout Features

Hidden Sound: Invisible Stealth Acoustics speakers, Coastal Source outdoor audio, and Triad distribution create smooth, immersive sound indoors and outdoors.

Curated Lighting Scenes: Lutron QSX lighting and Palladiom keypads allow the homeowner to recall perfect scenes like “Cocktail Hour,” “First Dance,” and “Party Time” with a single touch.  

Whole-home Control: A Control4 system ties together lighting, audio, shades, security, HVAC, and video so everything feels simple and consistent.

Video Throughout the Home: Samsung Frame TVs and distributed video sources let media appear instantly in any room without visible equipment clutter.

Integrated Shading: Motorised Lutron shades manage sunlight, privacy, and comfort while staying clean and minimal in the beachside architecture.

System Built for Coastal Power Fluctuations: Redundant UPS units, an automatic transfer switch, and remote power management keep the home running smoothly.
